On April 28, 2026, high-precision tank fittings produced with die casting and CNC have been completed. Workers carefully packed them into cartons, ready for shipment to Europe.
The customer's requirements for this batch of tank fittings are:
No shot blasting, No surface treatment, but a beautiful surface finish;
Thin walls, but guaranteed strength at the thread roots;
Thread: 1-1/4, ISO228-1.
We used a die-casting process combined with precision machining. Our technology ensures a beautiful and high-precision die-cast product, maintaining its aesthetic appeal even without shot blasting. During machining, the diameter of the relief groove is maximized to ensure effective wall thickness, while the width is minimized to guarantee thread root strength.
Why did the customer require no shot blasting?
Firstly, shot blasting removes burrs, strengthens the surface, and improves appearance. However, shot blasting is primarily used for hard materials like steel castings. ZAMAK3 is a zinc alloy, it is soft; shot blasting would cause deformation, damage the surface density, and destroy the original dense oxide layer of the zinc alloy.
