Our Heat Treatment Technology
High manganese steel castings must be heat treated to improve their performance before use.
We do precise and smart temp control heat treatment-water quenching for all of our high Mn steel castings. Its main procedure is:
- Heat to 1050–1100℃
- Hold temperature 2-4 hours
- Rapid water quenching to get single-phase supersaturated austenite structure, which is the base of high work hardening and toughness.
