Why not use other manufacturing processes or materials?

 

Precision-forged stainless steel gears are just one type of gear. The choice mainly depends on your requirements and application scenarios. If you have any doubts, we can explain or recommend the most suitable process for you.
Precision-forged stainless steel gears offer outstanding advantages:
The forged metal structure is much denser. By contrast, casting often has porosity, shrinkage and sand holes, while machined parts have lower strength. Precision forgings are less prone to chipping or breaking, and perform more stably under heavy loads.
Precision-forged products also feature higher precision with smaller machining allowances. Compared with cutting (which wastes material) and casting (which has larger dimensional deviations), precision forging is more suitable for mass production, high precision and low cost.
In terms of material:
Stainless steel is rust-proof, acid and alkali resistant, seawater resistant and moisture resistant.
By comparison, carbon steel and cast iron rust easily, have a shorter service life, and cannot be used in food, medical and other hygienic industries.

Will the gears you produce fit properly?

 

Let our working process answer your question.
First, we design the mold and produce samples according to your dimensions. After the mold produces the blank, we will carry out precision machining and grinding.
Our machining accuracy can reach ±0.005 mm.
We will conduct comprehensive measurements on the samples. If there is any dimensional issue, we will modify the mold until the products pass our inspection.
We will also send you some samples for trial assembly.
We will only start mass production after the dimensions pass your inspection.
Therefore, you don't need to worry too much about dimensional accuracy.

  • Light load, normal machines: 45#, 40Cr
  • Automotive transmission: 20CrMnTi
  • Heavy load, engineering machines, trucks: 20CrMo, 20CrNiMo
  • High precision, high fatigue life: 20CrNiMo, 40CrNiMoA

 

Will the products be damaged during long distance transportation?

 

Barring unforeseen circumstances during transit, there will normally be no issues. We fully respect any packaging requirements you may have. If you do not have a specific packaging plan, we will provide sturdy packaging. We have rich experience using bubble bags, cartons, wooden cases and other packaging materials.

We also take good care of the products we manufacture. Only when they reach you safely can they realize their full value.
