Rolling Stock Cast Steel Parts
This batch of Rolling Stock Cast Steel Parts, manufactured by Shata Machinery, is made of ZG230-450 cast steel using resin coated sand shell molding. The delivery was defect-free, with smooth mounting surfaces, black painting. The goods have been packed and are ready for shipment.
Customer requirements: high quality, high precision, low price, smooth surface of the cast blank, and casting defects ≤2mm after penetrant testing of machined surfaces, with no obvious defects in other areas.
Solutions: The customer did not specify a particular process. Based on their requirements, we chose the cresin coated sand shell molding for them. This casting process is more cost-effective and delivers faster while meeting quality requirements.
Result: After initial exploration, using higher-quality coated sand to ensure surface quality, the final batch delivery showed virtually no defects after penetrant testing of the machined surface. A few Rolling Stock Cast Steel Parts had very small pores, which were repaired using a cold welding machine, ensuring zero-defect delivery.
