What is 310S Heat Resistant Steel Casting?
310S Heat Resistant Steel Casting from Shata Machinery are high-end high-temperature castings made from 310S high-chromium-nickel austenitic heat-resistant steel using the lost foam casting process.
The material contains 24.0%-26.0% chromium and 19.0%-22.0% nickel, with a low carbon content and an inherent austenitic microstructure.
Lost foam casting produces castings with a fine microstructure, a smooth and aesthetically pleasing appearance, and high cost-effectiveness, making them widely used in high-temperature, wear-resistant, and heat-resistant applications.
What are the characteristics of 310S Heat Resistant Steel Castings?
- Not prone to peeling or oxidation at high temperatures; good shock resistance; not prone to cracking under alternating hot and cold conditions.
- High toughness due to its austenitic structure; high-temperature creep resistance; not easily deformed; good wear resistance; suitable for high-temperature dust erosion and particle abrasion conditions.
- Low-carbon material; good weldability; localized welding repairs do not affect heat resistance and strength.
